A Self-Massage, Kundalini, and Yin Sequence for Adrenal and Hormonal Imbalanceblog
Hey y’all! I’ve been recently working to heal some fairly intense adrenal and hormonal challenges which you can read about here.
Below is a beautiful self-care sequence of videos for helping to heal adrenal fatigue, as well as nourish your body, mind, and soul.
I discovered these videos in my quest for healing and hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
The videos are in the sequence in which I practise them. I find it’s really helpful to do this sequence when I’m feeling anxious and overwhelmed. They are very grounding exercises and I experience a sense of calm and rejuvenation after.
I also like the fact that it does take a chunk of time out of the day to do this sequence. When you suffer from Dysregulated cortisol, it’s really important to SLOW DOWN. Self care is and important aspect to getting back to health.
1. Adrenal Self-Massage
This is a great video on how to massage points in your body to help relieve, relax, and balance your adrenal glands.
2. Short Kundalini Exercise
Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras, which builds physical vitality and increase consciousness. This powerful technique helps to bring balance to the endocrine system.
3. Long Restorative Yin Sequence
Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time. This is a very nourishing exercise for adrenal stress Too much physical exertion causes cortisol to raise – exacerbating the condition.
